My responsibilities are acting as Program Manager for the FORTEZZA contract for the Defense Messaging System (DMS), supervising developers, QA, and customer service personnel, IT operations and supporting the sales/marketing teams in a customer facing capacity. Lead effort to develop alternative CAC middleware product for DOD, as well as Web 2.0 products for DOD and intel community. Implemented help desk management, source control, issue tracking and CRM systems.

    IT Director for Planetwide Games. In charge of operations and web development in support of Planetwide's MMOG product and application software. I work closely with game producers, product managers, and sales to support various efforts. I also assist the CEO and CTO in identifying and evaluating new technologies and products. I supported the CTO in planning and developing the company's portal product HyperComics.com including configuring and managing the 3Tera AppLogic grid cluster and VMware ESX Development servers.

    IT Director for Litronic. Managed IT support for 120 employees in two offices. Successfully managed IT integration with Saflink during acquisition in 2004. Applications included Rational Tools, SalesLogix CRM, Web Services for software delivery to govenment customers, and assistance in application architecture for the company's web based products. The company provides public key-based software and hardware including smart cards, security systems, and smart card readers and writers that secure e-commerce and data exchange across networks. Commercial customers come from industries including financial services, entertainment, and health care.

    Planned, implemented and managed a mixed Windows, NetWare and Linux network. Hired and led an MIS staff of four, plus supervised and two additional cross-trained employees to implement and maintain SAP/R3. Specified and implemented physical and electronic security policies and procedures including firewall policies. Worked closely with marketing department and public relations firm to develop and implement web site.     Lead Sales Engineer of LAND-5 Corporation a manufacturer of high-performance mission critical IT center equipment. LAND-5 built Symmetrical multi-processor servers, Multi-channel Communication Servers, Large multi-homed SCSI and Fibre Channel Storage arrays and High-speed Multi-drive Tape Arrays. LAND-5 has received numerous awards and was awarded San Diego’s fastest growing companies award two years running. I was the first non-partner employee hired and worked in all facets of the company during it's growth period. I was in charge of the company's online presence (BBS) for it's software development arm as well.
